following up on the AAPL system, here's an image, the one on the
left shows the NEW settings I added yesterday and the one on the
right shows the original settings.
The original settings would have had the system going back
to cash today for a nice trade as you can see, while the new
settings keep the trade live. Basically what I added was one
of my trending indicators you see at the bottom, if it's green when
the system is looking to exit, it looks at the indicator and if it
that indicator is green will continue to hold until it turns red.
one could always split the difference and sell 1/2 of the
position since the original system would have exited today. Again
your choice otherwise the new system is staying long
On a side note the Breakout sub system on AAPL is now showing a
trigger! See this image that shows all the individual sub
systems, the main system is already long via the Trend system,
however the breakout system is showing a trigger now, you'll see it
in the lower part of the charts. The breakout is what it sounds
like, that sub system is not reversion to mean, it buys breakouts
to new highs when the ADX indicator is expanding.
I'm not going to email this out if it triggers since the system
is already long from 4/25, however it's a good sign for the current
long trade if this breakout trade confirms by the close of the
day!

I don't know how many even took the trade two weeks ago since I
didn't receive one email over the last 2 weeks about it.
However I received one pm asking for me to make more systems on
say a basket of stocks like all the FANG stocks, or 10 large cap
stocks that I would send out signals for, but other than that seems
like very few here did the trade. Oh well
Yep, glad you held, AAPL now up about 12% , and YES the breakout
system is going long today too, so maybe this trade as a lot more
juice to it, I'll discuss that on the weekend.
Otherwise what I may consider doing is doing a basket of 5
- 10 diversified stocks with the system. Someone suggested
that I do all the FANG stocks and while I could do that, they are
too correlated, probably give a lot of the same or similar trades.
I think it might be best to do 1 or 2 FANG stocks then do big
cap stocks in other sectors, one for energy, industrials,
transports, financials, materials etc. If I had 10 large cap
stocks with the system, that would probably give quite a few
trades, it would take me a while to develop that via a lot of
testing. Also I would need to come up with the list.
I'm cutting out early, have a doctors appointment, have a nice
weekend!
a very nice counter trend trade! Buffet good company to be
in. I took the initial trade and then added to it around
175ish with my own breakout system. good to see the breakout
system may take the trade too!
