With regards to symmetry from the Feb 16th highs cash has not
broken the symmetry high bounce of 41 points from Feb 21st.
However ES futures did break symmetry the following day with
about a 50 point bounce (which lead to a higher low). Again
since ES trades overnight those moves when the highs and lows are
counted can be larger than the cash and you can have situations
like this where one broke symmetry and the other did not. If
you play symmetry on SPX good to also monitor Futures as well and
vice versa.
