    Steve/Matt,  is the VIX similar to XIV?   Could it blow up too and be accelerated into zero value?   I am curious because you've talked about buying it as insurance at times.  Thanks

    I was asking about the VIX.   OK, so the VIX is an index and can't blow up like XIV (which was an ETN).  Good to know.   Thanks
