James, the broken links result from the
https://breakpointtrades.com/blog/\\" that gets added in front of
the link and the "\\" that gets concatenated at the end. If the
link starts with http[s]:// I would make sure not to add anything
to it.
By the way, when I edit the text, the automatically-generated
Subject line is not fixed, so it shows "brokemn" instead of
"broken", as in the original post before editing. And the "\\" gets
duplicated twice (that is four backslashes for each one I
typed)

Yeah it has to do with overzealous escaping by the WYSIWYG editor, i'm working on it now and will let you guys know when it's resolved.
