Update: The sub system went short, the statistics on that trade type, 90% winner, max historical draw down -1.6%

It's possible that the 60 Stoch Short sub system could take a short trade today, however I won't be able to answer that until a few min after the close.  a good example of the trade is in May 2012, and here's the current chart

so it looks like one of the sub systems, the SPY Stochastic Short system took a short at the close for a 60% position in SPY.   As you know from my recent discussion one of the sub systems (the RSI 40) is still currently long.  Last week both the RSI 40 and the QE LE sub systems were both long at the same time, the QE LE long system closed out for a nice profit, and is why I issues the sell 1/2 alert for the general overall system.  Please see my  weekend General Market newsletter  where I discuss this in-depth at the start if you want more details on that.

Remember the system has 22 individual sub systems, 11 longs and 11 shorts.  Currently one of the Long systems the RSI 40 is still long, while one of the short systems, the Stochastic 60 has entered a short position.  When we look at all the systems together, there can be overlap between the systems.

So I'll let you decide what you want to do.  One option is to do nothing and stay long via the RSI 40 system.  Another option is to take the trade via the Stochastic 60, since it's a short trade, you would basically go flat on your long position from the RSI 40, and you would be in a flat position until one of the sub systems exited.

Since the 22 subsystems can each be taking different actions or sending different signals at any moment, is there an overall position we should be watching? When I go to the SPY PRO System tab, I see a 40% long SSO position - is that the overall position? Thanks.
