Looks like it turned back green today, that could change of course should the market dumpola end of day, as long as it holds 50% of the candle range today will probably stay green

    Certainly has switched back and

Certainly has switched back and forth f rom green to red to green to red too much this year to be of much help.

    honestly it hasn't been that

honestly it hasn't been that bad considering how choppy this year has been.  Remember it's a trending indicator MA, does better in trending years, this year was the choppiest it's been in many years

BPGDM is now 6.667 and the 8 SMA is about 7.5, so it looks like that system switched to sell today.

    not sure what you mean,

not sure what you mean, first off it's not a system, and it's still green for now

    I'm talking about the bullish

I'm talking about the bullish percent gold miner/8 day simple  moving average mechanical system that is occasionally referenced in the commodity weekend reports.

The $BPGDM is now at 6.67 which crossed down through the 8 SMA which is at 7.5.

Looks like a sell signal ?

    apologize, you asked about BPGDM,

apologize, you asked about BPGDM, I read it wrong, I'm really into working on some code so I'm distracted

BPGDM - yes a PSAR sell however the MACD has not crossed so technically not a sell

    In these extreme times, best

Posted by matt on 25th of Aug 2015 at 01:25 pm

In these extreme times, best to take profits at resistance etc, these bullish percent charts are gonna lag remember, and since the last short was over a 30% gain, the odds of the next trade being small or a whipsaw is high, which is why Steve and I discussed that and suggested using price action on a normal chart for now

    OK thanks, maybe next signal

OK thanks, maybe next signal will be better.
