Sorry folks, dealing with some technical issues here. The
SPY Pro system did go long, the other two SPY systems remain in
cash, SPY RSI 2 and SPY Ver 2. As I just commented below,
this is the aggressive 'shallow pullback' long trade for the SPY
Pro where it only needed a small pullback in price such as to the 9
EMA. Generally these have worked out historically as it
attempts to buy shallow pullbacks when it thinks the trend is
strong. However these can also carry more risk since the
pullback was shallow. The SPY RSI 2 and Ver 2 systems need a
deeper pullback. again it's up to you, if you avoided the
trade SPY is currently down 20 cents so you could buy it cheaper.
Again follow it or don't, but the system did go long .
I will update the stats on the trade page in the mechanical
systems section shortly. TS crashed on me so getting back up,
I think it crashed with Steve as well.
At this time it doesn't look like the other two SPY systems are
going to do a long, a long filter has triggered for both the RSI 2
system and the SPY Ver 2 system. So for example even though the RSI
2 is oversold on the RSI 2 system, the filter won't let it go long,
that can go away within a day or two, but just a quick FYI the
other systems are being prevented from doing a long at this
point.
sorry about that, 40% for the collective systems, yes SPY Pro
does not scale in. I have been thinking to rename the
collective group SPY Pro to simplify it down and maybe that was in
my head while I typed that quickly. For example if SPY Pro
went long and Ver 2 went long the first scale in, instead of saying
SPY Pro went long 40% and SPY Ver 2 went long 18%, just say SPY Pro
went long 56%. Or if SPY RSI 2 went long the first scale in
simply say SPY Pro went long 18%. I think it's too confusing
for newbies with the three systems saying what each one is doing
so, the math works out the same so why not just call it all SPY Pro
perhaps

Why did the email reference a 40% scale in for Spy PRO? The system does not have a scale in, only a scale out.

Or, for those who do not follow the collective group, just say SPy Pro went long and we can figure our own percentages.
40% of the "Basket" of SPY systems
