Hello everyone, as you know it's a nice down day for the market
today. Regarding the 3 SPY systems: SPY Pro, SPY Ver 2,
and SPY RSI 2 systems:
It appears that the SPY RSI 2 system will take an initial long
entry today at the close should the RSI 2 close below 10%.
You can easily check this yourself by placing a 2 length RSI
on a daily SPY chart, I'll confirm near the close if this condition
is met. Remember the SPY RSI 2 system scales in long trades
in two parts, 60% and 40%, thus the system would take a 60%
position.
The SPY Pro and Ver 2 systems on the other hand are not giving a
trade signal, normally they would however a filter appears to have
been hit that is preventing them for entering a trade
If you are following the combined SPY Systems, which combines
all three SPY systems, you would be taking an 18% position of SPY,
here's the breakdown in the table below:
SPY ProSPY Ver 2 SPY RSI 2
1st Entry40%18% 18%
2nd Entry N/A
12%
12%
For our Ditto Trade subscribers the trade will of course
automatically be entered for you by their broker.
If you happen to be on a free trial, since these trades can
lasts weeks at a time, which means your trial could end before the
system exits the trade, I think it only makes sense to follow the
systems via a 6 month membership!
mlorr or anyone else, I did sent out a trade notification,
however after some investigation it appears that our email system
had a hiccup and didn't send it to everyone, so clearly that's an
issue on our side and my programmer is investigating it and will be
resolved so I apologize for that. However that said, if you
guys are serious about trading these, take some initiative and
always check the trading community blog at the close as I always
confirm it here, also - you can check the trades section in the SPY
tab in the mechanical systems section. If you see an intra
day email about a possible trade, then check back at the close on
the blog or the trades section to verify because it will be
confirmed in those areas regardless if you received an email or
not.
Matt, I appreciate your posting intraday updates on possible
trades and the list of systems which would take those trades. Like
you said early, it may make sense to take a trade during the day at
known support during the last hour trading because the condition
may vanish by the close. It did vanish yesterday and on the Friday
two weeks ago.
A suggestion for you, Matt, is to send an e-mail notification
close to 3pm when a trade is likely. You usually send it
between 2pm and 3 pm anyway.
I took a trade at the known support yesterday near 3pm at the
low of the day.
