New Statistics

    I ran my stats on the last 50 year, 

    Condition: On the SPX cash, price closes above the 8 day SMA for 23 consecutive days along with an 8 length %R indicator also closing above 90%.  

    Over the last 50 years, this only occured 8 times, max draw down -0.44% for a close back below the 8 day SMA over the next 4 - 5 days

    Today was day 22, so if we get an up move tomorrow, will be day 23

    here's some chart examples of it, interesting not one was a major top though, generally just a reversion to mean

    Thanks Matt. I went long VIX ETF before the close. Now I know what to expect as far as a pullback for Spx.
