RUT took back more than 50% of 15m down candle.

    Maybe portends bigger rebound

    Possibly, but /TF took out

Posted by a_l_ on 15th of Oct 2014 at 10:23 am

Possibly, but /TF took out overnight low & has only spent 1m above POC. May need a retest of lows before more meaningful bounce; still selling at key levels.

    Another run at the /TF

Posted by a_l_ on 15th of Oct 2014 at 11:17 am

Another run at the /TF POC with immediate selloff. The fight is here for the day - between 1052 - 1962 with fakeouts possible +/- 5 points. The longer there's no breakdown, things get slightly more bullish (accepting price over time at a higher level than yesterday), but watch for a clear, convincing breakout either way.

    Slow bleed down not bullish.

Slow bleed down not bullish. Short-term support level just below.

    Looking ahead, if this inter-index

Posted by a_l_ on 15th of Oct 2014 at 01:49 pm

Looking ahead, if this inter-index picture holds up, it will mark another positive divergence by the RUT putting in a higher low. Maybe it needs a few of these to get something bigger going for a retrace.

    Dang - clearly didn't need

Dang - clearly didn't need to wait - already had put credit spreads on TNA close at 60% ROC in an hour.

    Bought back remaining TNA put

Posted by a_l_ on 16th of Oct 2014 at 11:15 am

Bought back remaining TNA put credit spreads here. Will be looking to sell call credit spreads on IWM or TNA at a logical level. A big bounce would be a gift.

    1080's a good starting point

Posted by a_l_ on 16th of Oct 2014 at 11:28 am

1080's a good starting point - sold some Nov 64-65 TNA call credit spreads for $.31 = 69% probability of profit. Will cover at $0.10-15. Will sell higher spreads on bigger ramps with 36 days to play out.

    If /TF can get above

Posted by a_l_ on 15th of Oct 2014 at 10:25 am

If /TF can get above 1065 & hold, then there may be a good long for the day.

    is that it?

looked like a panic attack (aka puking session) in the first 15 minutes. long bond spiked 5points and 10yr went under 2%. with the spx down ~32. most of europe off ~3% as i write. wonder if the lows of the day are in? with a possible higher low later today? we shall see. good trading....
