add and bugs to fix. I worked on it for about 7 months solid
and needed a break. It's a vast improvement over the free one
on the website but I needed a break from it and plan to work on it
again in the future. Here's what I wrote to one member who
asked about why I have not yet made it a full fledged system on the
daily SPX
Regarding the BPT MA Deluxe that I'm using on the daily SPX chart,
yes I would eventually like it to be a full fledged system, and
it's been profitable the last 6 years, however I'm still not 100%
happy with it, it does great the last 6 years because the market
has been so trendy, however it struggled in some earlier years like
2000 etc and 2004 that were not as trending. Remember if you
look at the indicator name is says 'BPT MA Deluxe Test' the word
test is in there for a reason, I'm not finished with it yet,
however I'm also not working on it at the moment because I needed a
break from it after working on it for 7 solid months in a row and
it's a vast improvement over the free version of the indicator that
is available to download on the website, but still not where I want
it to be ultimately. The SPY Pro system for example still
beats the statistics on the BPT MA by a wide margin, last year they
were neck and neck both doing about 30%, the BPT MA Deluxe did
better in 2012, however in all other years the SPY Pro did better
and in some years by 2 or 3 times.
