Here's a free indicator I had my programmer make for
Tradestation, it's very simple but you can set any moving average
from a simple to exponential and it will tell you how far price is
away from the moving average. This can be useful because we
like to look at things such as how far is price away from the 9 EMA
for example or 20 EMA on a 60 min chart in the tutorials, those ES
trades that I have been showing as well.
I only have this for Tradestation - so perhaps one of you
programmers out there could drop this into Ninja Trader for me, Id'
appreciate it :)
works on any time frame, but you have to know how to use it, I
can make a video showing how I use it later on, my wife is sick and
so I've been tending to her today vs following the market
Matt, yes that's a nice indicator which can also be used as part
of a screen. No idea if anyone else uses Ameritrade's Strategy Desk
but if so here's the formula to put into a Level 1 page or plotted
on a chart
