Fundimentals - What's wrong with the Economy

I just paid $44,000 in federal, state and payroll taxes on $100,000 in income for my wife and I. They get $44,000 we got $64,000. This does not include the eventual town taxes and sales taxes.

I can assure you that it disincents me from continuing the struggle and risks of business. And hiring, what do you think I think about hiring anyone? I avoid it like the plague. We just get by with temps and other forms of temporary help.

So much for all the wining about business not paying taxes. When the money comes out of the business we all pay plenty of tax.
