Regarding the BPT MA Deluxe - I'm going to add in some very simple Elliot Wave like logic, and I'm also going to start having the indicator turn to a gray color from time to time indicating no trade, instead of always being red or green.  I like the idea of the indicator indicating you go to cash from time to time instead of always in.  Here's a video I made showing a very simple concept:

Guys I did it!! If you watched the video from this afteroon regarding the BPT MA Deluxe and my clever idea to incorporate an Elliot Wave trending concept into it, well I got the change code to the indicator!!here's a quick video - it's allow the indicator to go red 15 - 30 points highers

I've also attached a stats table, as you can now see, the BPT MA Deluxe would have been in cash for at total of 155 days since 2009 - that's  big difference because remember before it was always in a trade

    that's wonderful Matt, thank you

ha thanks cubby! When building these strategies, you really have to think out of the box and be very creative, that's why you have to be in the mood to do it and why I can't just do it on the dime - there are times when ideas are flowing like water (like now) and other times when I just can't force it.  Right now ideas are flowing like crazy for me, so I'm being prolific

    That is excellent! Thanks Matt.

yeah it's just a very simple concept - that's the things I add to this indicator, very simple but logical conceps

Thanks Matt.  Quick question: Are you

    Thanks Matt.

Quick question: Are you not going to use the Blue color based on RSI getting oversold / overbot?

One version of the older indicator had it turn blue in between red and green at times based on RSI being overbot or oversold if I am not mistaken?

nickross- that function you spoke of

Posted by matt on 13th of Dec 2013 at 12:32 am

nickross- that function you spoke of is still in the indicator, and can be turned on/off with a simple true/false statement

By the way I have the change coded for the gray, will show tomorrow
