2x and 3x Leverage ETFs have significant degradation over time.
I was wondering, what about -1X ETFs such as
SH (-1 SPY), RWM (-1 Russel). Would these
be appropriate ETFs to trade or Swing Trade when the market
eventually rolls over for a significant decline. If you have any
more examples for Commodities and other markets, I would
appreciate.

Hi everyone,
2x and 3x Leverage ETFs have significant degradation over time. I was wondering, what about -1X ETFs such as SH (-1 SPY), RWM (-1 Russel). Would these be appropriate ETFs to trade or Swing Trade when the market eventually rolls over for a significant decline. If you have any more examples for Commodities and other markets, I would appreciate.
Thanks !

P.S. Happy Birthday Steve :)
-1x ETFs also suffer degradation.

All of these have fees associated with them, just like mutual funds, etc., Is that the source of the "degradation" that you are seeing?
