Hi Guys, I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and weekend!
As you know, I'm the 'tinkerer' of the site, always coming up
with ideas, systems, etc. I used to be a scientist in my former
profession. Generally on the weekend I always spend some time
thinking about new things, systems, etc - that's also why I tend to
send my newsletters out later as I tend to brainstorm and work on
these other things that takes hrs - I stayed up all night last
night for example working on the BPT MA Deluxe. Honestly I
really need to make it a point to work on the newsletters FIRST to
get them out of the way and then work on these kind of things, but
it's hard when you get excited about things.
Anyway on the weekend I was brainstorming some ideas on the BPT
MA Deluxe and I've come up with some very simple logic that
improves it substantially! I can't add it myself as I'm not a
programmer, I have to write up detailed examples and descriptions
and give this to my programmer and have him code it into the BPT MA
Deluxe, however I'm pretty excited because it improves it quite a
bit. Now for now this only improves the buy entries, I have
some ideas for the short entries as well.
I have to leave for a family function, however I will post some
statistics when I get back to show you the effect that the
improvements will have. And as far as the commodity report -
I might keep it brief in order to work on this more as most of you
are already well breast of the commodities.
so here's a preliminary of the new change, I will discuss in the
newsletter, however the change so far was with longs, I've attached
a chart showing late Oct 2012 to present with the present BPT MA
Deluxe at the top and the new one below, I added the closing prices
where the MA changed color, for the longs, notice that I put a blog
on the areas where it turned green and you can see the difference,
the new one changes to green quite a bit faster resulting in about
427 points gained during that time vs only 313 on the original
indicator, quite a difference! Again I was only able to code a
change for the allow the indicator to green faster, I have not
worked on the opposite side yet.
I also attached two tables showing the dates going back to Dec
2011, the top table is the original BPT MA Deluxe, the second table
contains the new settings - quite an improvement
Again I've always been saying that this indicator is NOT a
system and never to simply buy and sell on it alone, however I'm
adding some system logic so that it can behave more like a
system
Hi Matt what settings do you have because mine in TS charts are
not the same on the original version! For example I have a red
indicator from DECEMBER 26th,2012 until Januray 3rd 2013! In the
original version your indicator never went RED!
MATT , somehow today my BPT MA Deluxe disappeared and on the TS
log mentions to contact BPT! I guess members license to use the
indicator expired in December?
BPT MA Deluxe massive improvements coming!
