I had some questions yesterday about the GDX and RSI 2 as I've
posted statistics of this before:
Basically my statistics show that since GDX started traded, the
RSI 2 has only closed below 1% on 11 occasions, here's the stats on
the condition that you exit when the RSI 2 closes back over 80% or
when the momentum indicator turns red. Currently the RSI 2 is
below 1%, HOWEVER it's the close that matters, not intra day
readings
I'm not advocating that you trade this, I'm only posting it for
informational purposes

thanks matt, but what momentum indicator are you referring to here?
