Access to BPT MA Deluxe

    Hello Matt/Steve

I just joined a hour ago and have been reading the posts and watching the video(s) of the BPT MA Deluxe.

I am deeply set in the Think or Swim platform (with favorable trading fees, custom studies, and a workspace that has taken a long time to fine tune) thus do not want to make a change to trade station to use the BPT MA Deluxe indicator.

    1.  It does not look like anyone has written thinkscript code for it ... correct?

    2.  Assuming not, do you post the daily and 60 min chart of it (with SPY or SPX) combined with MACD and Stoch so we can follow it?  Worded another way .... are there  options to follow it (other than TS)?

Sorry if answer is on the site.  I will begin to spend many hours learning the site and understanding its tools.

    Thanks very much,  Steve

ccsincsd - first off welcome to BPT and thanks for joining - you will find that Steve and I are passionate about what we do, we are not perfect, but we will out work anyone and we are always students of the market constantly learning.

Now back to your questions - first off as a new member -  first off you can send a personal message to Steve or myself o the blog,  this is best for administrative questions like the one you just posted so that market posts and trade ideas are not drowned out. You can also send us an email: support@breakpointtrades.com

regarding this indicator - yes for now we only have it coded for Tradestation, we have some future plans to also code it for Ninja Trader and Multicharts, but as far as Thinkorswim we do not have that platform and thus don't have any plans to code it for that platform at this time. and I understand that you are invested into that platform and do not want to change.

Otherwise I show the signals for this indicator in the 'Long Term Tools' section of the website for the daily SPX chart, I am soon going to add the signals for the Monthly chart as well and perhaps the weekly chart.  Otherwise as you have seen, I typically post the charts on the blog and in the newsletters.

Over time I plan to give more indicators away for free - but of course they will be for Tradestation, and possibly Ninja Trader and Mullticharts.

also regarding this website - yes there is a lot here but also remember that it's still sort of a hodge podge of information - some sections are not totally finished and some things are quite confusing - that's the problem when I work 80 hrs a week doing analysis, newsletters, trade ideas, developing systems and indicators - I don't have any time left to work on the website to make it flow and make more sense - thus if you have a question or need a walk through let me know and I can give you call in after hrs

    My own situation is similar

My own situation is similar but this morning I did open accounts with Tradestation for the sole purpose of being on the same page with BPT indicators and having the capability of using them on my own. After subscribing here for awhile now (a year?...I don't know for sure) I've found Matt and Steves work to be an essential part of my investing decisions.

BTW...I found the rep over at Tradestation to be very helpful and professional and am definitely looking forward to learning the awesome platform they have created.

Just wanted to do a hopeful thumbs up for the eventual development of indicators for Ninja Trader which I have been using. For those that don't know Ninja is a free platform that can be used for charting, backtesting and optimiztion. You do have to have a data source for it. I trade with Interactive Brokers and it can run off data from them. Down the road if you want to do automated trading with Ninja they charge a fee for that. In the meantime the platform is great and has good support. JMHO

BTW the Hull MA is available on TOS charts.
