GDX 2008 gaps

    GDX - Chart Link member bptl pointed out to me two gaps from back in Dec 2008 therefore here's the chart, the one from Dec 10th isn't that far aware in the low 26 area.  I'm not one who thinks that gaps from that far back hold huge pulling power and HAVE to be filled like the old saying 'all gaps must be filled' however I thought I would point them out in case GDX has another leg down.

    what's your question lambeau you had nothing in your message? about GDX mechanical system?  As I stated weeks ago, I took the BPGDM system offline, perhaps I will try to bring it back one day, but I had some concerns about it and the BPGDM and stated that for now it's better to just trade GDX using normal Technical Analysis and triggers

    Regardless, yes, that was my question as to what became of the GDX mechanical system. I must have missed your previous post regarding taking the system offline. Seemed like its stats were pretty good overall...

    In order for me to feel comfortable with it I would need to go over all the trades and revamp it, add some rules like I have in the BPENER system etc.  

    otherwise as I say here, trade it using normal TA, because it's gonna be a LONG TIME before the BPGDM moves up, I think it would take a big move off the lows to even get that to respond now considering how oversold the stocks are
