As I promised earlier, here's some additional thoughts
about the recent action and some comparison to past
action - there seems to be a lot of emotion with some of you gold
bugs so I thought it was important to go over this again in more
detail
thanks Matt, you had me rethink my taking 4
positions on various gold/silver stocks (via short puts) until we
have more definitive idea we have a bottom in place (and I am
not catching a falling knife). I shall be more patient.
The message I got out of it was to be patient. Don't go bottom
picking. There is no evidence yet that the bottom is in place. This
is NOT a good time to be buying GDx or gold stocks in general yet.
Wait for more evidence of a bottom being in place.
