Here's a scenario to watch for
RE - Chart Link - RE chart for Frtaylor -
this shows a symmetry example to look for
again now is not the time to really focus much on shorts except
for hedging purposes against your longs, and once in a while you
can take a shot at resistance such as on the SPY today how it
tagged the upper trendline, taking shots at resistance is fine,
with stops

I did take a small short on SPY at 142.98 this morning. Took off 1/3 at the gap fill from yesterday's close. Rest is on a stop above today's high.
