Most RSI 2 SPY systems will go long today as the RSI 2 is quite
oversold. Obviously depends on the RSI 2 level that you use,
common systems use 10% etc. Again I'm only posting for
informational purposes, we do not suggest to follow or not follow
them, just info.
These two systems: the first one exits on a cross back over the
9 SMA, the second one exits once RSI 2 goes back above 80%.
Both produce about 80 - 84% winning trades, but can get
caught if a downtrend is deep enough and they buy too early.
The second one is a multi entry system, therefore will scale
in as many as 4 times, many times these systems can be early.
Looks like those RSI 2 systems got a good buy on Monday!
however at this time none of them will be closing out.
One of them closes out when price closes back above the 9 SMA,
the other closes out when the RSI closes back over 80%, even with
today's big gap, that is not happening
frtaylor - your questions were answered in the original post for
exits, one exits via the RSI going back over 80%, while the other
exits when price closes back over the 9 EMA for longs and back
below the 8 SMA for shorts. Yes end of day says
I had a question regarding the multi entery RSI 2 system, did it
take another entry today. No the system did not take a second
entry; the system only takes another entry at a better price.
For longs price has to close below the previous days lows
