New format-- FYI with internet explorer-- more
limited in scope for users now.The ability to fast forward
etc. with the controls bar at bottom of the page is entirely
lost- that includes volume control. We can pull up the
link but its audio only. This cannot be used in
conjunction with charts- because the audio functions to
both applicationa re linked-- you mute one- you mute
both. would appreciate getting that function back if
possible. thnx

Hey Parkridge,
Could you let me know what version of IE you are using, I
believe I am duplicating this issue in IE 7 at the moment and will
make sure it get's fixed before we do our next newsletter in this
format.
Also we aren't getting rid of the old newsletter, merely
trying to supplement it with new ways to look at the
content so you will be able to continue viewing it as you always
have if that is your preferred method.

Also I have added direct links to the live charts on stockcharts
where applicable as well as chart numbers to the playlist per
feedback from last Friday.
As an alternative to or in conjuction with the left side index,
if I may suggest a button on each chart to start and stop the
relevant audio. One could then skip or page trough charts and press
the button when audio is required for that particular chart

So you want a way to page through the charts without the audio
playing? And then be able to turn on the audio on a per chart
basis?
You can already do this by just hitting mute on the volume
bar. Is there some reason that this wouldn't work for you or am I
just not understanding what you are asking for.
I would like to see the newsletter as it has been as a default.
You open it and you scroll to the chart of interest and turn on the
audio for that particular chart. Then you might skip three charts
down and turn on the audio for that particular chart. I do that now
by poking at the audio bar but its hit or miss.

Yeah I think I understand now, basically you want the legacy
view, IE all the charts on one page, with the individual audio
player above each chart.
After talking with matt we both think this is a pretty good
idea given that it lets you scroll to find charts that you find
interesting and then get the audio at that point so we will be
implementing this moving ahead.
