not the right spelling; usually call him ashcan. He's a
self-promoter, but his calls have been right and I like the way he
trashes conventional economists who always make the mistake of
projecting trends indefinitely into the future without noticing the
changes at the margins. Look at manufacturing data over the past
month, for example.
man what a loser that guy is, he is fully qualified to be an Obama's economic adviser.

For an economic analysis and view I like to read Hussman, he is currently saying there is a near 100% chance of another recession FWIW
