Short QQQ at 9/30 close or higher.
At
the close on 9/30/11, we have a short call for our
market timing model.
The QQQ’s close on Friday was $52.49 at that will be our target
entry for tomorrow.
As usual, try to use a limit/conditional
order to get into the trade during the
day.
For 2011, the QQQ Long/Short model portfolio return is +.37%. For
the past twelve months ending September 2010, the return is
+11.39%.
For 2011, the S&P-500 is -10.20% and for the past twelve months
ending September 2010, the S&P-500 is flat when you include in
dividends.
I don't think you should be posting Marco's stuff here..I
believe he considers it confidential info. Correct me if I'm
wrong...but folks have to sign up and are urged to contribute to
defray costs, so I"m assuming it's considered confidential
info...
I also only ended up at Marco's site because someone was posting
about it here. Considering one can sign up for free anyone who's
interested is going to do that rather than count on getting a
signal here. I think it's good for him.

nah....free advertising for him...I'm sure he wouldn't care (but
could be wrong).....only reason I ever signed up for his email
alerts is seeing something here on BPT....
Marco's system has been impressive but has whipsawed between
short and cash a couple times in the last month. I've tried to
"improve" on the system by filtering his trades without
much luck. Since Jan 2003 I have him up about 285% both long and
short and about 13% in the last 12 mos. I use the buy or sell on
the open the next day after he gives a change which is a little
different than he uses for his results. I don't have any idea
how he gets his buy / sell signals.
