I'm noticing that by the time you get the 2nd buy confirmation
box, the price has moved so far off the bottom that the sell signal
that comes is close to the same price as the buy. Am I reading the
chart incorrectly or do you see the ame thing?
I am also having some issues with Renko charts that I just
started using. I am using Tradestation and I cannot get them
to look like Matt's charts. They normally change direction
more. Stockcharts has the concept of block size and time, but
Tradestation has only the concept of block size. Can anyone
comment on this? Thanks.
I am having a similar problem. When I refreshed my chart, I saw
2 white (buy) boxes disappear and turn into 1 red box. WTF! Got
burned twice now trying to trade this.
Renko -- you have to wait till the bar closes before doing
anything....remember it doesn't show gaps -- I don't like them---
paper trade them for a while
I was actually thinking about signing up for software last week
that offered renko charts...looking at your comments I am having
second doubts...I know they can really chop you in nontrending
markets
