I have been trying StockCharts, helpful for viewing ongoing
charts BPT creates.
Two issues:
My main question is---am I just missing something?
The Chartlist function is essential to group type of charts, but
it seems absolutely necessary to have some convenient way to
quickly view and manage these charts, esp move from one list to
another, I am looking for a drag and
drop.
AM I JUST MISSING SOMETHING? Or does this not
exist in any convenient enough fashion.
TWO----Chart annotation via Java or Flash, both create a very
small chart size that I cannot find anyway to "blow up" on my
monitors. It is crazy to not be able to both blowup in
visual size, and to zoom into areas to make sure you are pegging
the correct high or low points on trendslines and the like.
AGAIN, I am in outerspace or what? Do people just
tolerate this, or am I missing something. This is
like having a Lambourghini with little tricycle
tires.
There are several views. Choose edit to manage the
movement of charts from one list to another and to change between
styles (which includes size features).
To view quickly, select 10 at a time and scroll or choose
candleglance to view several smaller charts at once.
Also, you can change font size on the charts.
To zoom in: press control plus use scroll wheel on your
mouse.
Thanks the Edit feature helps manage the charts, good no brainer
thing.
Cannot see font size change, where is that, please.
The zoom works fine on the Stockcharts but what I was really
looking for was to zoom on the Chartnotes (editing page), an editor
without a zoom seems absurd.
I'm not sure why your chartnotes size is so small. It's
something in your settings. Mine comes up about the
equivalent of a 700 or 780 size chart. BTW, try setting your
chart to something like 780 or 900 before going to chartnotes.
Maybe that will help. Use java it's fast.
Go down below chart to adjust chart size and try that.
As far a chart lists I organize the chart (sometimes
dupicates) in different lists. On a chart you like, click on
new and save it to which list you want. Otherwise create your
charts and from chartlists put them where you want them.
Chartlists is not perfect but it works when you get used to
it's limitations.
have you tried adjusting via the "size" button to suit yourself?
There's a lot of settings in SC, and plenty of FAQ pages if you
search plus also they have a help desk
