finding high volume stocks intra day

intra day I like to use this site for finding high volume stocks, I have this set to scan for stocks trading over over 200% relative volume to their average daily volume, you can of course set it to whatever you like, for example 200% might be too high, so you can go to 150% etc.  When you mouse over the symbol it displays a chart, which is a quick way to filter them out, I eyeball them and when I see something that looks interesting, I then look at the stock on Stockcharts.

you can also scan for chart patterns like trendline breaks, bull flags, triangles, etc

    great tool, Matt, thanks!

You can get that data real time, on FreeStockCharts.com from Worden. You can set up scans with parameters like volume 50% greater than the 50 day average, price also above 200 and 50DMA's, etc etc etc.

    yes that's another good site
