Top Kill Failure

    ROBERT, Louisiana — BP's "top kill" operation to plug the ruptured well in the Gulf of Mexico has failed, the energy giant said, in a stunning setback to efforts to stem the worst oil spill in US history.

    BP and federal authorities said they are now turning to a new strategy to stop the leak, but it will take at least four to seven days before it can be put into place.

    is there any way to impose a no long trades ban on bp, the damage caused by their rig is unbelievable.

    being sarcastic (in case anyone was worried)....don't get me wrong I'm no big Bush fan but he'd be absolutely villified with this incident where the "I can do no wrong...don't you know that?" Obama gets a free pass.....freaking joke and all the more reason the mkt is going to go to hell in a hand basket sooner rather than later.....
