Gap Indicator?

Gap Indicator?

Posted by jcmells on 30th of Sep 2010 at 10:37 am

This is the exact quote as it was posted here before:

If there is a gap, and it is going to reverse, it will do so 10-15 minutes after the opening 95% of the time. Please believe me on the odds, they are real. If the market continues in the direction of the gap after 10 to 15 minutes, it is a strong sign that the move will continue for the rest of the day, closing in that direction as well. Even if the market reverses after the 10-15 minute period, if it fails to fill the gap, odds are that the market will close in the direction of the gap.

Totally agree - a bunch of blabbering baboons, each trying to outshout the other.  When I have it on, I mute it and just monitor the futures.

Top Kill Failure

Posted by jcmells on 29th of May 2010 at 11:53 pm

ROBERT, Louisiana — BP's "top kill" operation to plug the ruptured well in the Gulf of Mexico has failed, the energy giant said, in a stunning setback to efforts to stem the worst oil spill in US history.

BP and federal authorities said they are now turning to a new strategy to stop the leak, but it will take at least four to seven days before it can be put into place.

Results not yet in on whether or not Top Kill succeeded.

Daily Newsletter Request For Matt/Steve

Posted by jcmells on 21st of Apr 2010 at 06:33 am

Would it be possible to briefly go over, on a daily basis, Triggered and Untriggered stocks in the Newsletter?  Instead of commenting on so many charts, many of which contain almost identical information, I believe it would be beneficial to members to pare down the chart commentary and give a brief review of the triggered and untriggered stocks.  I realize you do this occasionally, but I think it help members if you did it on a daily basis.  Thankyou for any consideration to this request.

I don't believe there is any need to bind them - just put everything in a large envelope and send it off.

Very interesting critique - Tks for posting.  It has always amazed me how McHugh can have so many followers - he definitely knows how to package what he doesn't know.
