tradequick - since you asked, well I subscribe to my own view instead of others, but I personally view deflation as a big risk, everyone is in the inflation camp just like they were all dollar bears last fall at the bottom, and all the debt around the world is very deflationary, that's my view.  Maybe we get deflation first then inflation.

is pretcher still calling for $600 gold this year?

    searay - pretcher was wrong

Posted by matt on 13th of May 2010 at 11:31 am

searay - pretcher was wrong about gold, but right about the US Dollar, whereas Mchugh was wrong about the Dollar, but right about gold - kind of interesting, they were both 1/2 right but also opposite of one another.

    to put it another way,

to put it another way, they both have been calling for a catastrophic downturn (as I tap my fingers on the desk and humming). Undecided

Prechter has been calling for the receding tide to sink all boats including gold and McHugh the same "except" for gold.

Prechter has (not so subtly) backed off $650 gold lately

    We shall see ...
