I believe that if you go to the reports section in IB and then
select tax reports that you can download the information in a
schedule D. IIRC they have the section D already filled out for
you. I downloaded mine in Excel format and then I can make any
necessary changes and attach that to a regular schedule D for the
IRS. pm me if you need any additional info.
I started using TradeLog. It took a little working with things
but their support is good and the reports look great and checked
within pennies with the 1099s. Note that the last time I checked IB
is only giving a Schedule D with wash sales -- if you have trader
status with the MTM option you do NOT have the option to get the
report without the wash sales -- unbelieveable!! Must be freaking a
ton of people out. Fortunately TradeLog can import the data and do
it either way.

i downloaded a excel report yesterday from Tax forms section. on IB website...it did cover the wash sales.
