CHARLOTTE, Mich. (AP) _ Spartan Motors Inc. (SPAR) on
Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $4.2 million, after
reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Charlotte, Michigan-based
company said it had profit of 12 cents. Earnings, adjusted for
non-recurring gains, were 9 cents per share.
The maker of chassis for fire trucks, RVs and other
vehicles posted revenue of $173 million in the period.
Spartan Motors expects full-year earnings in the range
of 60 cents to 66 cents per share, with revenue in the range of
$790 million to $815 million.
Spartan Motors shares have risen 17 percent since the
beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last
12 months.
I have found that when ever APMEX is having a sale on gold and
silver coins, like they started a week ago, it is an indicator of
what might happen next.
