That's the same daily data I found. The question still is, how
does $50-500 mill stack up within the volume of the 5-10-minute
time slot at the end of the day, especially if trading is otherwise
thin.
And I think cwa82675's point is (?) that the amount could
actually be a lot bigger if there are several multi-million chunks
from some members. $200 mill or more doesn't seem like a
stretch.
Compared to the market, yes..but compared to the volume coming
into SPY or SH in a 5-minute period, I'm not sure. Wanted to
explore the question with the members.
With 500 subscribers entering trades averaging $100,000 and
probably much more--likely, given the size investors who use
BPT--we're looking at a substantial block of trades within a
5-minute time period. $50 million would be the low estimate,
right?
Is there a good way to assess whether the "BPT Effect" might be
large enough to affect the SPY fill prices?
Good point. But on an hourly chart, JJC looks to still have the
potential for an ascending triangle. As Matt described that
possibility a few weeks ago. I don't know if it matters that copper
would now be lagging the S&P, instead of leading. Maybe others
could weigh in.
must turn the world upside down. I'm very sorry for your
great loss. Please go easy on yourself. Everybody's grief is
different, but for me this helped: postpone any decision you don't
have to make, until you can breathe.
Thanks. Thought so. After all the discussions about TBT
eventually coming back as a long-term swing trade after TLT, I held
out for a clearer signal in the newsletters and blog. Too
bad. Next trade.
Matt, Steve, if you hit a slow patch today, I'd appreciate your
thoughts on suitable entry points? I see on the watch list that TLT
is considered completed but haven't seen much about the TBT charts
for a while. Thanks!
Look forward to the multi-entry system rollout. Sounds very
promising.

Steve, could the 15-min SPX chart be a bottoming diamond formation pattern? Is there such a thing?
You add a lot of value to the precious metals discussion, thanks

I'm even more interested in a longer-term TBT chart, could you possibly include one in a newsletter sometime soon?
Ditto
Matt/Steve, I have an eye on TBT as I am thinking ...

I thought it might have a bit further to fall, but also would appreciate a more detailed update on potential entry points.
Thanks, bkout

Then early buyers/sellers benefit, right?
