Australia has raised its main interest rate for the second month in a row, to 3.5% from 3.25%. Interesting that the dollar is spiking after this happened.

I like it. Shorted EEM Thursday afternoon with at stop at $39.60. Planning to hold for a little while.

Yes. Too many eggs in SRS/DRV on Friday for me. Also shorted AMZN and EEM and had TZA so the day wasn't a loss by any means, but I hate to see big gains disappear because of the Government. IYR should have closed down big on Friday.

I can't believe this was released during market hours on a late Friday afternoon. It cost me a lot. I had not clue we would move this far so quickly. My SPY and FAS charts didn't move at all so I was puzzled and in shock at the time. Usually on a big down day SRS closes at the HOD so I wasn't too worried about some drops since it is usually the MM's blowing out a few shorts before we close. You can tell I am a little frustrated since I had a lot of SRS and DRV from earlier in the day. What should have been an awesome day turned out even. And those playing the 15 minute system got hurt as well.

Lesson learned is don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Analysts say a downbeat note from influential banking analyst Richard Bove raised concerns about Wells Fargo and sent investors rushing to dump financial stocks.

Joe Saluzzi, co-head of equity trading at Themis Trading LLC, said the note was a reminder of troubles still in the economy and was enough to scare many traders.

"They all ran for the exits at the same time," he said.

Awesome call. I forgot about AAPL. Made a quick 2.75 points shorting down to $204.75. Missed the top by about a buck.

Loving SRS today. In at 9.64. Carl Ichan says to short the REITS.

People are dumping DXO in AH -- it is down 7% and DTO is hardly moving. Guess people want out. Will be interesting tomorrow if it goes back up as it should. I wonder if we should be worried about SRS or TZA?

Now $1.46. Trading almost twice daily volume already today.

Any thoughts on FNM? I bought recently at just under $1.00 in my IRA and we are now at $1.40 today. Not a bad return. I'm hoping it turns into another CAR or the like.
