whatever happened to this chart/indicator - you used to love it
and show it all the time in the daily updates and followed it - it
just disappeared one day and never came back? did it lose its
value, stop working or we have something better to replace it? It
just crossed up a couple of days ago.
I want to suggest an improvement...when you toggle or reply, you
get "previously posted by xxx" - can we have a date&time of
that previous posting? sometimes it is a day or more old, with
charts, which may be stale and irrelevant at the present time.
Does anyone know
exactlywhat
"ex-date = 12/23/2008" in the press release means? does one get the
distribution if he owns them at the end of day or beginning of the
day or what? this may force us to hold it past end-of-day otherwise
you lose the distribution but you already took the hit on the
price!?
what ema's are you using? I am looking at 9/39 and see 4 crosses
- 15min had 3... it looks pretty crazy trying to game this...looks
like the 15min would have captured most if not all of this move -
mostly the last run?
Hi rp - thanks for answering...my question
basically had to do with your comment back on Nov.25 - I wanted to
know what was it exactly that got you out of SRS and into URE -
what support did SPX hit? On the SRS chart in that posting, you
drew a trend line of SRS and it hit it so it looked like a time to
buy it not sell?
i said to watch the 5 min SRS for exit earlier but you can also
zoom into the 1 min. downside for less active traders is that
you can get faked-out easier on the 1 than the 5 min.
eitherway, here it is. sold my SRS when the $SPX hit support
(thx doc) now long URE at 5.08.
rp I sent you a private message a few days ago - no answer -
maybe you didn't see it - if you want I can post it again here -
nothing personal - just a question about SRS/URE on Nov.25
why don't you just put in the link - that way we can see the
whole article, with images etc.? this would be a much better way -
unless this is restricted contents etc.?
1. on the sample charts - red/blue are ema(close,16) and
(close,34) - which is which? it is always a good idea to show
description on all charts, especially the ones with many
colors.
2. on the example for Oct.22 (10/22) which is shown on the
Oct.28 and Oct.29 market recap video/charts:
It shows that a trade occured for this day - oct.22 right at the
open (sell short 3305 @ 30.25) but the day barely started - and the
crossover was on the previous day! Is this how this thing is
supposed to work - you will trade first thing at the open if there
was a crossover at the end of the previous day? this probably also
means that you do not initiate any new positions in the last
15-30(?) minutes of the day since you are supposed to close them at
then end of the day?
Any clarification of the above points, by anybody, will be
appreciated.
