German decision at 10 am local time

Tuesday's Newsletter

The German Federal Constitutional Court will issue the ruling about the EU rescue at 10 am local time, according to Bloomberg.

The valuation on the European banks tells the same story. Price to book on Deutsche Bank is now 0,43 and the share price is heading down to 2008-09 years low.

tomorrow the German constitutional court will release its verdict about the Greece bailout at 1000 o clock. it will probably be positive but with some ad ons such as in future it will be up to the parliament to vote. A negative verdict would mean the end to the euro. I don't think that they have the guts to do that.

Japan - Kobie earthquake 1995

Posted by lebow on 14th of Mar 2011 at 12:53 pm

ok, thats also correct

personally i believe that the effect will be highest in the short term when Japans industries closes - the demand for copper and oil will decrease, which may turn out to be good for inflation. i really don't believe that the fed will take any decisions based on the tragic earthquake in Japan, but the decreased inflation is good for Fed if they chooses take a new round with QE.
