bk1976, you nailed it right there - if someone cannot afford $ 50 per month, what the heck are they doing trying to trade the stock market. Furthermore, people who want their hand held and be told what to do and when to do it are obviously not adults who are prepared to take their own decisions and live with the consequences. Again - they shouldn't be trading. Thirdly, if you can't make a multiple of $ 50 per month from all the information here (even if it is only the SPY system), then you are doing something seriously wrong! Please keep up the good work, Matt and Steve, I truly do appreciate your effort!

Oddly enough, freestockcharts.com is also having a problem - their index prices are moving, but they don't match what I see elsewhere; eg. they had the SPX at 2891 a moment ago, when everwhere else was giving me 2884.

That spike down was probably only due to the very high Tick reading at the open. I don't see any news, and price is coming back up again now.

Hi Matt, could you please explain what you mean by saying that day-trading ES Futures makes sense, but "trading the market" (by which I assume you mean SPY or other ETFs) is not a good idea? I think that the main difference is margin/gearing, not so? I trade CFDs, so that would put me in a very similar situation to being a futures trader, right?

I do NOT have it - it has been mentioned here previously - and imbecilic, unqualified remarks such as yours are definitely not helpful. Back in yer box, mate.
