GDX/GLD ratio catching up ?

Plan Market - Looks like the DOW folks and OIL, Commodities need to pull back a little while the QQQs rally into AAPL.  This will be the QQQs 2nd last stand for a Wave 4 coming.  This is the same game plan I shared a couple weeks ago and I'm ALWAYS early.  I got my ass handed to me by Meta last week but I'm confident on the Wave 4 pull back coming in the QQQs (but I'm long Meta right now) and wave 5 should be led by OIL,XLE and DOW,IWM folks.   It would be the perfect storm into end of Sept.  I really don't think this market can hold the 9 through August.   RATES ARE GOING HIGHER.  COMMODITIES ARE GOING HIGHER.  INFLATION IS GOING HIGHER.  Sorry for caps...my 2 cents and I love reading the communities thoughts and input. Can't wait till October when the world comes to an end. :)

Plan Gold - I have 20 long GLD 185 Sept contracts in the green (bought last Thursday).  Based on the GDX/GLD ratio and comment, I plan to reduce on any strength down to 1 contract this week.  I call that my tracker contract.

My plan(s) - I wish I didn't have so many per my earlier post.

Matt - great newsletter mate !  When there are so many options, which are the best ones ?  So let's say I'm a noob and just want a winner... like all my friends are telling me to bet x,y,z on roulette but 0/00 is a best bet.  I encourage you (as I always have) to provide some focus for the community...like draw a few charts/scenarios together.   Remember when you started the LONG TERM, MID TERM, SHORT TERM views ?   Following today's newsletter - Long Term (Yearly)- Green.  Mid Term (Monthly) - Yellow/Trending Red.  Short Term(Daily) - Yellow.

My short ISRG started working and took 1/2 profits, still holding 1/2.   CMG short from the open looks fantastic ... bottom of that gap is 1800 !   Also opened a new long GLD position today ... looks like we are in the right shoulder range for the Inv HnS.  Meta - glad I added ot my short this morning but yet to be seen if I can even get back to even on this one.   Will be interesting to see which QQQs lost their STS today and are also below the 50 RSI that was pointed out by a member today (could be juicy stuff).

I went to cash in my 401k about 2 weeks ago.  Was expecting QQQs to pull back and maybe everything based on the seasonality and then was planning to go heavy into IWM and DOW/Value (as I have limited options in my 401).   Today I was gonna make a big move into the QQQs if the wave iv scenario held.   At this point looks like i'm staying in cash with the big bucks.

PCE tomorrow ... chance for more rollercoaster back up ?

Steve has wave iv been negated with this move down or still viable ?

Opened that CMG short this morning.  Can't wait for it to fall off the cliff.

Then it's not a system.  It's you have to be a skilled trader and first be able to recognize a wave 4 and then have to have the balls to ignore the system by some arbitrary amount that you call noise.   As far as I'm concerned, the system (in it's current state) failed.   Same is currently true for ISRG which closed several dollars below it's STS and is now back above it. 

I think it's good if you can improve the systems to account for more noise (without giving up too much more loss) but perhaps the other factor here is when it comes to earnings - all bets are off, even for the STS systems.

Good thing I didn't go long NOW.  Bad thing I stuck to META short.

Wow that Gap is another 100 points !   Gonna look for bounce up to top of gap in am for a short.

Tempted to go long NOW but not with this backdrop.  Added to META short.

Fireworks are to be expected on Fed day and directionaly it's pretty much as I expected.   We could still finish green and tank tomorrow but i'm leaning towards falling through the floor now.

Guess we've seen how green they could get it ...now let's get that .5 -1% down in the SPY.   Fill some of those gaps.
