I have heard that the housing market should bottom and then
improve late 1st quarter to late 2nd quarter 2011. That is on
a general basis, therefore, that will differ from location to
location. How rising interest rates will effect real estate
markets is uncertain. It's kind of like trying to pick a high
or low price for a stock - not a good idea. Having said that,
you are near the bottom so the individual deal, quality of the
property, etc. will be the determining factors. My
advice, is to find someone who is experienced in your market - even
if you have to pay for it. LOL

I have been in it since $1.16 a few days ago, it seems. I
view this as a long-time hold as advised by Matt. I would
follow his advice on buying on pullbacks, preferably 50 day but
realistically, 20 day might have to do. Also, came across
this site a few days back, you might be interested.

Congrats - sure you did well. I have a sizeable position
(for me) in URRE which is up quite a bit today. With a
15% plus move, would you take some off the table? I know the
decision is mine but interested in hearing from an experienced
trader. Thx!

Thanks again, rank10! Just read about moly last night,
should have acted sooner. Have traded GMO before. Where
do youi see the Moly cos going? Enjoy the weekend.
Thanks for pointing me to Lexcorp. Obviously, one would
need to be able to trade Canadian stocks (for the most part).
What broker service do you recommend. I use Scottrade which
is not a good broker for trading Canadian exchanges as I
understand.
Thanks, Matt. What indicators would you recommend in
improving the system? Also, would you recommend that one
keeps his or her powder dry and wait for a reversal in the signal
(L to S) before jumping in?
Thanks for your participation in this site. Your comments
have been very valuable! I am not able to trade on Canadian
exchanges through my brokerage account (Scottrade). A quick
directional tip as to how I can trade these securities would be
greatly appreciated.

How is this related to TBT and TYO (inverse bond funds) doing so well as of late? Is this a trend that will continue if bonds continue to falter?

Matt, Awhile back it was discussed using an inverse ETF for GDX in accounts that cannot short (IRA, 401K). Do you know what that would be?
