is there something else we need to watch for after the gap has been filled and the 20 MA  ? what's the technical rules on gaps ?

As Matt mentioned in the news letter, there is a strong resistance around $26, I personally won't short it until those levels, in my case I am looking at it from a long term trade, however you might be a short term trader.

Thank You Steve

I agree there is so much noise of how the market should react according to someone's opinion as a fact of the 1987 where some think we will copy that trend and close at the open price of the year (1420's on S&P).....really come on, we have to have some extreme catalyst to trigger that.

What DO YOU Think ?????

If you believe we are heading below the 1500 in the near future then look at the trend from 03/2009 and 10/2011 (Blue Line).

Save your money and RESPECT the trend.

But in the other hand if we do break that trend then all hell would break loose and again that line is a very strong support.

Would you agree ? Just my HO

Steve, Matt, or....., what do you make of this move ? counts or trend ?

S&P

Posted by quadratic on 22nd of Jul 2013 at 02:29 pm

Looking Back since 2000 on the monthly Chart, anytime during the year we are

trading over the 20 Monthly Moving Avg, we always go down to it or at-least close.

We only have about 4 months left in year 2013. we might have a very hard drop and

then recover and close higher for the year.

OR keep this trend higher for every 2 or 3 % drop would be bought. and then start

2014 in the RED.

PS: Notice how the trend line connecting the lows of 2008 and 2011, is parallel to 20 MtlyMA since 02/2013

your inputs is valuable, Thanks
