cnbc just said CT. has 62 inches of snow this season, vs. anchorage alaska @ 39.  no wonder my kids are so excited, with all the snow days they will be going to school a lot longer this semester (another storm slated for next week after 15 inches last nite).

I think I'm gonna shovel off the roof later.  Foot in mouth

FWIW; what is referred to here is that according to an article of  obamacare legislation (and this has been in the press and is supposed to be addressed in legislation this spring), is that ALL transactions (purchases or sales) between individuals and/or business that meet or exceed the $600 threshold must provide a '1099' at year end.  this article of law supersedes all other existing laws regarding transactions between businesses and/or individuals.  mandate effective 1/1/12 if this section not repealed. for more info just google obamacare $600.

example: you pay $600 to your lawn guy, he has to give you a 1099. snow removal exceeds $600, he has to give you a 1099. etc.

and wait to you see what else got snuck in there in the middle of the nite

me thinks that 12k will wait until wed open. to show how much the mkts (aka spin doctors) 'liked' tonight's state of the union speech. then the ensuing selloff can be blamed on FOMC. sounds like a plan to me. Wink

Matt/Steve,

today was early p/b, then bounce over breakout area, now back below, is it worth taking a shot down at the 8.81 level? moving avg, crossover? or just let it slide?

FORM

FORM--

Posted by hazbin1 on 24th of Jan 2011 at 08:23 pm

Matt/Steve, any thoughts here from charts standpoint? I'm looking under the hood.

i'm no expert, but, company has done some major writeoffs to strengthen b/s (nominal debt load). cashflow usage, well they have ~$7 in cash, so they have a few years of cushion. the key is going to be sales (earn announcemnt 2/1). operating exp. relative to sales is high (based on quarterly history), if incremental CGS is minor on increased sales, then they will look good (provided sales increase to at least 50% above 3rd q. which would exceed 2nd quarter sales). Intel reduced business with company last year due to economy, however INTC has said it is increasing 2011 capital spending, so maybe FORM will get some more business. hope you folks don't mind my insight, I realize that BPT is a tech site, but sometimes fundamentals give a 'swing' perspective (in my mind anyway). of course dyodd, good luck
