Thanks for the great call!

Thank you, elementsix, that is

Nice pop on URA.

Thank you, elementsix, that is a good explanation of how to handle stocks with dividend payouts. In my case, I didn't even know it paid a dividend, I was just trading on technical indicators and Matt's opinion.  So, it was dumb luck for me, but now I know better!

The info Matt posted abouts URA dividends says that the dividends are paid semi-annually. However, there was no payout in June 2023. I'll be alert in June 2024! :-)

URA very nice!!

I had 1100 shares (for a while) I was surprised that URA paid me an annual dividend of about $1681. That also explains the pullback in December which was a buying opportunity (although I didn't realize that at the time.).

Steve, I have a StockCharts account and I found that if I annotated the chart (even minor change) after clicking on View Live Chart, I could then save the chart with annotations in my account. Of course, then I own the chart and wouldn't see future annotations from BPT.

I found an indicator called SuperTrend, It doesn't have the boxes that say Buy / Sell but it does draw the buy / sell lines. This is OR with a buy at 12.33

Does anyone know how I would monitor this on interactivebrokers TWS screen?

Matt,

I truly appreciate information such as this which points out market conditions we can take advantage of. I can and did trade options on BOIL today. Thanks for this information and all you and Steve do.

I know you liked this one, Matt. Great call. I don't know where to look to exit, though.

I paid extra for the

GDX System, No notification

Posted by chuckw on 18th of Dec 2010 at 09:52 pm

I paid extra for the SMS service just so I could receive alerts on the GDX system. I did not receive an SMS alert for the last two GDX system signals. For the last one, I had just left work and had my computer turned off, so I was not receiving emails. BPT should let me know if they are not going to provide SMS alerts for the GDX system so I can drop that extra expense.

That was very interesting. Do

Uranium: The next gold?

That was very interesting. Do you think it would make sense to develop a mechanical system for trading CCJ or other vehicles in the uranium sector?

Matt, do you think this

new market system

Posted by chuckw on 24th of Sep 2010 at 11:36 am

Matt, do you think this system will be suitable for an IRA account where it is not possible to actually go short, but one must buy an inverse ETF?
