Yeah I'm not trading more than one or two contracts and more
than two futures at a time. I've traded a lot of thinly
traded options and its not ideal but you just need to be extra
patient to get the orders filled or prepare to push a market order
through if necessary. How long did you usually
hold?

does anyone trade seasonal futures like livestock or grains?
I was reading historically pork bought in AUG and sold in
late NOV has an avg return of 30%. They also seem to spike
annually around April. I wish i could afford palladium
contracts lol. I'm glad i opened a futures account but like
options you either need a tight stop or a strong stomach and good
risk management! On a side note the Ten year note futures was a
great short play yesterday TN_F. I didn't catch it but it was
a big move!

Also going to apply the question to silver. I know they
are all speculative old currencies but have real world value for
medical applications and electronics. Seems that silver has
been artificially suppressed for years now

Can anyone explain the pricing of GLD and GC_F the past week.
Seems to be extremely manipulated or have the central banks
been up to something that affects the pricing? It’s been moving in
step and against the market yet seeming to offset potential gains
for anyone using it as a hedge to trade.

my theory is that corona
Posted by vinylchild on 27th of Feb 2020 at 03:00 pm
my theory is that corona spread should slow drastically in the US for two main reasons.
1. We have much more sanitary public areas than Wuhan
2. Weather is warming and the viruses tend to become less deadly over time
3. Bonus: Mike Pence is in charge
