I have a feeling Bernanke might be the editor for Market Watch
website. On their site they emphasize that there were more
buyers at the Treasury Auction than normal as of late. Which
we would think is a good thing.
But when you look at the facts, there has been a substantial
shift as of late from long term buyers to short term. Yes,
there were more buyers, but they were buying 4 week notes, and less
buyers came to the 3 and 10 year bids.
Although Steve, if you look, about a week later SPX comes back
up to test the 13 EMA and then blows through it on the 16th.
I suppose the same could happen here? Your thoughts please on
that scenario.
Yes, but only if the move was more than 60% - and who in their
right mind leaves a stop that wide. Typical would be more in
the 15% range. They will not be getting those back
unfortunately. Too bad for all those people. That
really sucks.
Ironic timing of the split I would say. This ETF has the
potential to actually trade back down to those levels again within
the next few weeks if things really start to go sideways here.

Not good for the US debt in my opinion. But what do I know, I do not own a printing press.

sorry bk, is that up vs down, meaning that there are 7x more selling (on a volume basis going into close) as there is buying?
