just an observation that IYT (transport ETF) is down almost 4%
and major indices are only down less than 1%. I believe that
dodger mentioned in last week's update that transports could be
first to roll over.

When I saw the Chrysler bankruptcy story on CNBC.com this
afternoon, I emailed my Mom who works for Tier 1 supplier in
Michigan; She said that they are anticipating that GM and Chryler
will go into bankrupcty and are cutting their production for those
customers to almost zero, this afternoon. BTW, production is
in China. Just an observation.
Looks like the auto companies will be given more funds, if they
restructure per govenments plan to be revealed in the coming
days. I wonder how the market will take this...

has anyone heard any news regarding GM, Chrysler and Ford?
There has not been much reported on this topic as of late, except
that the Bond holder sent a letter to the Treasury over the
weekend.

Has anyone heard any news regarding Auto Task force and the big
3? Last I heard, they were in Detroit on Monday to visit
their HQs. There has been little in the news lately regarding
them.

Is there a site that will provide a quote of $USD throughout the
day? I have been using INO.com and the recent quote is 88.05,
down $1.113. Based on Matt's $USD chart, this gap down
out of the falling wedge, like GDX did a few weeks ago.
thanks matt...I recall that you or doger said or wrote that leg
5 of 5 would approximately be the length of leg 1 of 5 of major
wave 5. If so, does this seem close:
SPX: Leg 1 65 points (875-810)
COMP: Leg 1 ~100 points (1598-1500)
