I have been with point break trades over a year now.
However, I have not progressed in my knowledge of what is
going on. I have attempted to watch the educational videos
(on many of them the audio does not seem to work) however they
seemed to start at a level of knowledge I do not have including how
to read the charts that are presented in the nightly news letter.
I am frustrated with my inability to pickup on concepts that
are presented. I have done many of the SPY trades however I
have done none of the daily trades. I do not understand much
of the terminology that is discussed but would like to. Am I
missing some additional education available on the website or is
there an assumption that people who sign up for point break trades
are more experienced than I. I want to understand all of the
nightly newsletters that are presented. If there are other
learning resources available that you would recommend please let me
know.
What happens when the XIV shuts down. I am assuming the
net assets will be distributed to the shareholders of record.
I do not know if it makes sense to hold the investment till
then or sell it now. I tried to contact Credit Suisse but had
no luck. Any one have an opinion or correction to what I am
saying. I am wondering if there is any way it can go up from
here given its position or could they possibly reverse their course
of action.
Matt I know I ask the question earlier but I would like to hear
it from you, can I lose more than my initial investment in the XIV.
In other words if I hold it, it would only go to zero and I
would not owe anyone any money.
Steve I understand the VIX may be crap but I still would like to
know if you or Matt think it will recover and what you recommend we
do in the morning.
