5 ' tick trend

Posted by ditch on 3rd of Jan 2012 at 03:38 pm

5 ' tick trend is rolling over again.

I'll be forced to close my shorts today at the close and wait for the next set up as it's too late to chase this market up today. SDS down 4%

I think there is a typo in your email, you say " However today's email is a notification that the daily system is no on a buy. " and I think you wanted to say NOW?

Yes, good post Saturn, there has been a lot of chatter about SLV & GLD not having enough metal to cover their positions. I like PHYS for the same reason.

Matt, what etf or index and time frame were you looking at last week that when the slo sto 60/3 stayed over .80% all day & you said was bearish for the next day? Looks like that may be the case today.

My 5' Tick trend is showing this pull back right now very well.

good insight park, form what I've heard, the sales were mostly on give aways and promotions, Why else were the stores staying open till midnight and such, Bare chested guys hawking A&F at the malls. Why could Victories Secret do that? oh, i digress. Anyway, the charts don't like, the consumers are only buying what they feel they must and that's now over. Sears closing stores and such, the talking heads make it sound like the econ is coming back but I know too many folks out of work and see no signs of rebound around here.
