Don't know if it's still a problem but Scottrade used to have a
consistent error with volume on their charts when I had an account
there a couple years back. They would never fix it -- had to do
with the way they put the volume together and it made chart
analysis involving volume useless IMO -- main reason I left for
Ameritrade which I think offers more anyway. I do use IB for most
trading tho.

IB dont have flat rate at 9.95 very expensive to trade with IB. Trade srs 6000 shares cost 30 $

I have pretty good luck with TDAmeritrade. they run 9.99 NO MATTER the trade size

If you are trading big size, Scottrade is tough to beat. There Elite platform is just OK - nothing great.
