I used tradestation for a while, but couldn't take the
slippage. You can access the easy to borrow list every
morning to see if AIG is available. I shut it off if it
wasn't.
I already had an account with IB, so I switched. I am
still having a few problems, but it could be some of my
settings. There is also still some slippage, but not as bad
as tradestation. Usually the worst slippage is the opening
trade and the closing trade, during the day it is pretty close.

50% of time there are no shorts..but the main problem is
slippage..which can be as big as 0.10-0.15. Adding this will ruin
the results..so no..you can't use Matt AIG system with an account
at tradestation only.

I have been running the AIG strategy w TS for a few weeks with no problems. From time to time there is a slippage issue but it depends on the speed of the tape. Worst fill was off by 6 cents.

so, is IB the only viable option?

Probably not the only option,

Probably not the only option, but it seems to work pretty well (as long as you set up TB correctly.)
